Obtained from the distillation of grapes grown and vinified in northern and central Italy,
this Brandy can rightly be declared “Traditional Italian Brandy”.
This brandy’s aroma and flavor are precisely derived from the contact with the ageing barrels that were previously used for cherry. It is distilled in small traditional alembics over a discontinuous fire, and it is then matured for five years, first in oak barrels called “carati” and then in small barriques. The nose offers notes of quince and sultanas, while the bouquet is dominated by ripe cherries and limousine.
Overall, a great Brandy to be enjoyed at room temperature in a large ballon.
